"To successfully achieve a sale is a credit to both his resilience & diligence" - Mike B


In April this year, I sold our Radio Station through Mike Bryce, Barker Business Brokerage Ltd.
After some research, I had decided that Barker was the most professional brokerage and so I approached Mike to sell our business.
Straight-away Mike was in the car and on his way to Tauranga to meet with us and view our set-up. He displayed a genuine interest in gaining a complete understanding of the operation and what he was selling.
At this stage Mike had no idea of what he was getting himself into. He would later describe this, as by far and away the most difficult of the many sales he had achieved to date.
Mike’s recommendation to achieve the best possible selling price was to auction the station on Trade Me, a three-week process. The buyer interest, generated from his marketing strategy was truly phenomenal. However, just three days out from the close date we were compelled to ‘pull’ the auction, due to an edict from the Radio Spectrum, the government broadcasting agency.
All our potential buyers were lost! The sales process and marketing had to be started again, from scratch.
That Mike was still able to successfully achieve a sale is a credit to both his resilience and diligence.
During the weeks following the sale, Mike was in touch with both the buyer and myself to ensure everything was running smoothly.
