"A good listener and realistic in his approach" - Frank

Last year I received a call from a person, introducing her boss, Frank Pollard, a Business Broker asking if we were thinking of selling our rest home, Windermere in Cambridge. Essentially a “cold call”. As a matter of fact yes we had just recently wondered how to go about this if we did decide to. Frank specialises in rest homes so he was just the one to talk to.

We met Frank who made an appointment to visit and look around and find out more about our plans and what we were looking forward to in the future. He wasn’t pushy but a good listener and realistic in his approach and explained the process he would use to sell Windermere. A few weeks later we met Frank again and signed up with him to put us on the market. After introducing us to a couple of non-starters a few months later we suddenly had a flurry of serious buyers looking through our home. Eventually we had 3 good offers on the table on the same day and had a sale for the asking price. Frank was great at dealing with both parties clearly and fairly all through the process.

Frank really shows his knowledge on the subject of rest homes, he is great at keeping in touch during what can be a trying time and acts as the conduit between the buyer and seller, often on a daily basis. This undoubtedly held the sale together during what was at times, a stressful time for both parties. His knowledge again shone through at times where other professionals were struggling with such a specialised subject.

We have no hesitation in recommending Frank Pollard to anyone looking at buying or selling a rest home in the future.
