"Honest, reliable and loyal" - Alan

I am writing this letter as I feel that not enough people in the world praise people for a job well done.

Two years ago, we sold our shuttle business and then purchased a motel in the Coromandel. In both of these cases social media plays a large role, customers are quick to draw your attention to negatives (even if they are not correct), but people that only have nice stuff to say seldom leave comments.

With the view to sell our shuttle business we contacted Alan Dufty on a recommendation from another business owner. After many conversations and great advice from Alan we decided to hold onto it for a few more months and this proved to be an amazing move on Alan's behalf.

Finally, we decided to go to market and Alan was fantastic. He kept us well informed on where we were at with the market and predicted the buyer. We only had to meet with two separate parties and Alan had done most of the hard work for us. The first one he could see was not a right fit, however he told us it would be a good practice run for the next one.

Alan sold our business within three (3) months (also this was listed early December right on Christmas).

While this was happening we asked Alan to look for a particular kind of lifestyle business that we wanted to purchase and he came up trumps with that as well.

While we were away in London we decided to buy the other business and Alan was great, he started the ball rolling for us on the Sale and Purchase agreement. He managed to negotiate a great deal that suited both parties. It was subject to our property selling in Auckland which took a little longer than predicted so he handled all the amendments along the way - he certainly earned is commission.
We are now living down in the Coromandel and Alan has been to see us to make sure that everything is okay and also keeps in regular contact with us.

To sum up, if you need a broker that will work for you and be honest, reliable and loyal, then Alan is your man. I have no hesitations in recommending Alan to anyone wishing to buy and or sell a business you will not be disappointed.
